Why We Created a Hair Loss Reality TV Show?

There are so many misconceptions about the hair restoration industry. People hear “hair replacement” and automatically think plugs, ill-fitting toupees and spray on hair! We wanted to develop a show that would demonstrate the pain and heartache that those who suffer hair loss experience. I’m not sure there is another industry where people are so easily and casually ridiculed for their desire to better their appearance. Why don’t we laugh at people who whiten their teeth or have LASIK surgery?

Back in April, Jay Leno did a Mall Reality Show spoof on the Tonight Show in which a camera caught video of men in the mall who were balding. The show was entitled. “Extreme Combover: Dome Edition”. Funny? Sure. But consider how the average hair loss victim really feels. I’ll tell you. They suffer lose of self-esteem. They feel shame, embarrassment, hurt, frustration. Many times both their lifestyle and livelihood is threatened. So why did we create this show? To transform the lives of men, women and children across America who suffer from hair loss and its devastating effects. It’s just that simple!

I have lost almost all my hair twice and had no idea what to do. I went to two doctors. They were of no help. They actually acted bored. Can't wait to see the show. Hope it will help us closet victims.

My mom just shared this with me. I'm thinking about nominating a friend that has the same problem.
